The EU Commission has published in Feburary 2020 its “White Paper on Artificial Intelligence: a European approach to excellence and trust”
in which it outlines proposals for promotion and uptake of AI in the EU. The Commission simultaneously started a consultation (ended in June 2020) calling for contributions from EU citiziens, NGOs, companies and academics.
